It has been lightly handled and seldom worn. The very light line on the background IS NOT A CRACK, but just only a vein of the stone. Near invisible. Wonderful high-relief cameo depicting a lovely Putto. The frame is coeval of the cameo, in deco style. Very desirable and collectable brooch. As any collector know, lava cameos of this quality are rare.
