Appraisals   Each cameo sold by Pommeraie Antiques is accompanied by a detailed certificate of appraisal of retail value. Each certificate, which includes a color photo and a detailed description of the cameo, is printed on elegant heavy-stock paper, and signed by Silvio Righini. Appraisals can be used for insurance or re-sale purposes. If you are giving the cameo as a gift and would like to have a certificate omitting the appraised value, this is available. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT APPRAISALS VIA EMAIL! As first I want to thanks all the visitors and customers writing me about their cameos. I'm very happy looking at your cameos and share my experience. But now, please allow me these instructions for the VERY RARE bad users of this page... 1) Pommeraie Antique is not a kind of expensive and sphisticatet software appraising cameos! Reading your emails there is someone who is sometime very busy, sometime happy, sometime in a bad mood etc. In one word a real person: me! So, since to appraise cameos by email is not my job, please help me making it easy. Please believe I receive around 30 emails every day. 2) please send ONE picture ONLY - in JPG format - and cut off all around the cameo. I'm not interested looking at your whole home! This is not for to be unkind, but for a real problem: the "weight" of your emails. Once, someone sent me FOUR times the same email containing pictures for 15 Mega bites! Because this, my computer was out of order for two days and I paid 150 USD for to repair it. 3) please don't send a picture if it is not good enough for to understand what I'm looking. I appraise with my eyes and I need something clear to see! ;-) 4) please send me your pictures just only if the cameos in my archives, and the page "about cameos", cannot help you. I know my English is very bad, but I believe that on the around 1,000 cameos described in this site, you can find something looking similar to yours, for the style, the era etc. As I said I'm very happy to help, but why should I spend my time if you don't want to spend yours checking my site? 5) as everybody, I don't like to much to receive unsigned and impolite emails. I'm very sorry, but I'll don't reply any more to emails like "how much worts?" with no "hello", no name, no "thank you" etc. 6) a simple email saying that my appraisal has been received will be greatly appreciated. 7) if you never received a reply from me, please accept my sincere apologies and CONTACT ME AGAIN!
