Tiny chip on the nose of the second cameo. These magnificent and rare cameos excellently carved by a master hand, are in mint condition. The right cameo shown a hairline by origin, and a tiny chip on the nose, near unseeable by naked eye. Each cameo is carved from an unique piece of 3 layered agate. The frame, in goldplated silver and finelly chiselled, was made in France between 1893 to 1900, and shows two French hallmarks: the swan and the owl. The frame is in near mint condition, except one "pearl" just near the Ariadne's head. This is an exceptionally rare piece, really hard to find.
