Date: ca 1830 Origin: France Size: 1 9/16 by 1 3/16 inch Condition: Never worn The light crack on the right is by origin. It can be easily be hidden by a frame. These two superb high-relief cameos (as the smaller s069 and the s070) appears to be carved by the same master. Surelly never framed, they could be part of a series destined to a necklace: the ratio of the oval is the same, and the shell is not only of the same kind, but overal four cameos comes from the same shell.
