The frame is 100% mint on the front side. Unnoticeable dent on the back side. The background shows a hairline by origin (not a crack or a stress line).     This is one of the best cameo I have ever seen in my experience. The cameo is rare for many reasons: its amazing artistic quality, the quality of the carving, the kind of shell (cameos with white background are rare), the subject, the magnificent and finely chiseled frame. A true masterpiece.
